About Linda F. Delaney

Linda F. Delaney
is the President of LFD Consulting, LLC, an organizational management consulting agency.  With more than 14 years of organizational/employee development, leadership, and management experience, Linda brings results oriented proficiency to her clients in program evaluation, asset mapping, proposal preparation, technical writing, strategic planning and implementation. She is an accomplished facilitator, workforce development provider and skill/principle-based trainer and provides community outreach planning and development.
 
LFD Consulting, LLC and associates ensure that diverse talents and expertise are always available to our clients.  The LFD Consulting, LLC conglomerate of consultants provides services to churches, schools, youth groups, and other nonprofit organizations, government agencies, as well as business and corporate clients.  Program evaluation and asset mapping is customized to the needs of the agencies requiring these services.  Additionally, training workshops are customized to address the specific changes and needs of each organization to maximum impact and results.

Lindais a sought-after speaker, trainer, and workshop facilitator.  She has served as keynote speakers and co-chairs on National Women’s Conferences (e.g. Total Woman’s Conference sponsored by Bishop & Mrs. G.E. Patterson/Memphis, TN) and Leadership Conferences (e.g. The Drum Major Leadership Conference sponsored by the MLK, Jr. Commission/Little Rock, AR).  As an author, Linda founded PMA World, LLC, a publishing company through which she has distributed personal development books, audio CDs, and other inspiring merchandise (e.g. “Don’t outsmart ‘em, out God’em!™ T-shirts, baller bands, key chains, cups, etc.). She is the author of two books: “Stewardship: A Matter of Principle” (© 2003) and “In the Shadows of Greatness” (© 2006). 
 
Ms. Delaney is a consultant for the Tobacco Technical Assistance Consortium (TTAC), a project of the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.  She also serves as a program evaluator for various public health community organizations funded by the Arkansas Department of Health and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.  She is an active member of the American Evaluation Association.  She conducts grant and scholarship reviews for agencies such as the American Legacy Foundation (Washington D.C.).  She is an accredited program Evaluator for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where she co-facilitates training sessions with Dr. David Fetterman (Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA) and co-designs training manuals for other program evaluators.  She is also a referred consultant by the Praxis Project (Baltimore, MD), a national nonprofit organization that partners with local community organizations to influence stronger collaborations and capacity building.
 
Prior to founding LFD Consulting, LLC, Ms. Delaney was the Executive Director of the Mississippi County Workforce Alliance (WFA).  She was responsible for daily operations and executive leadership to rebuild and maintain a nonprofit organization.  She implemented and evaluated innovative programs for the underserved youth and adult communities in a county with the highest unemployment rate of Arkansas’ 75 counties.  Under Ms. Delaney’s leadership, this organization was recognized by Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in April 2004 as exemplary of Best Practices on the new Arkansas Governor’s website.  At WFA, Ms. Delaney received a (workforce development and public policy) grant from the Foundation for the Midsouth to create, design, and conduct training for the Delta Job Training and Life Skills (courses included:  Stewardship, Visionary Leadership, Technical Writing, Employability Skills, Financial and Economic Development, Myers Brigg Assessments, Customer Service, Diversity)and the Career Adventures Youth Program (courses included:  (Brotherhood & Sisterhood:  Self-esteem/Race-esteem, Teamwork, Adopt-a-child.  Service:  Stewardship/Leadership, Service Learning, Community Service. Scholarship/Edutainment & Exposure:  Science, Technology, Mathematics, And Non-traditional Careers.  Entrepreneurship).
 
Ms. Delaney served as a National Sales Manager and National Sales Trainer from 1997-2000 for Results Seminars.  She traveled extensively promoting the nation’s leading sales trainer and author, Tom Hopkins.  As National Sales Manager, her team building skills were critical to successfully achieving peak performance with nine (9) national sales trainers around the country.  As a National Sales Trainer, she conducted 1-hour workshops on Basic Sales Skills for Fortune 500 corporation workforces all across the nation.  She also served as an employee development specialist for MCI Mass Markets and Time Warner Cable from 1992-1996.
